HELP JAPAN project (2011-2012)

Shortly after Japan’s big earthquake in 2011, I set up HELP JAPAN fundraising project via my old blog.

The project carried out in three phases between 2011 to 2012, over a thousand handmade miniature birds and limited edition products were sold online. With generous support by participants from a total of 11 countries, nearly 9K was raised. The donation was delivered to one of the towns in the most devastated areas hit by tsunami.

"Keeping the light of hope" installation was intended to spread a message to people not to forget the after-effect of such a disaster.

More detailed stories on this project can be found in my blog post from this link.
